Sometimes we search for information about a research topic for one of our courses. Or, sometimes we are searching for music, a new item of clothing, or even searching via social media for what people are thinking about a trending topic, or maybe you are looking for a Thanksgiving recipe. ; )
Select a topic that you are searching for on the Internet and answer the following questions in your response:
1. What is the topic or information you are looking for?
2. What search tool or program are you using to look for it?
3. What search terms or phrases did you use to find it?
4. What information did you find? Was it what you were looking for?

Choose a website related to your field of study. For example, if you are a Psychology major, you might choose something like the American Psychological Association. If you are an Accounting major, you might choose something like The American Institute of CPAs.

Why did you choose this web site?
What is the purpose of the web site?
What type of domain does it come from?
(educational, nonprofit, commercial, government, etc.)
Is the site current enough? How do you know?
Would you recommend this web site to others? Why or why not? If you recommend it, how can others use the web site for the purpose you identified?
