– Spreitzer and Quinn (2001) list a number of characteristics that create a secure and supportive work environment (p. 107). How do these characteristics relate to people’s ‘tribal’ affiliation? In what ways, if any, might ‘tribal’ affiliations work against a secure and supportive work environment?
– Thinking of ‘tribes’ as groups of employees at the workplace, how should a leader address the fact that tribes can only hear one stage above and one stage below where they are?
